Interests of the practice include; Surgery, Anaesthetics (including Epidural and Spinal), Obstetrics including Caesarean Sections, Counselling, Acupuncture, Sports Medicine, Industrial Medical Service, Diving Medical Service, Women’s Health and Men’s Health including Vasectomy.

Two Doctors are on call at all times in case of emergencies.

The practice is committed to the ongoing teaching of medical students, and usually have at least four student placements per year.

They are also a RACGP Registrar training practice and have a GP registrar in their advanced training term of six months most of the time.

There is a Hospital, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service, consisting of 98 beds.

The Hospital offers Radiology including CT, Pathology, Accident and Emergency Services as well as other Paramedical Services.

The Hospital also has a 14 bed Rehabilitation Ward.
