Rosedale

Approximately 2 hours from Melbourne on the Princes Highway, this community of 1,134 people is located half way between Traralgon and Sale. Rosedale is a good starting point for scenic excursions throughout the district and constitutes the major approach point to the Grand Ridge Road, which winds along the backbone of the Strzelecki Ranges.

The community is commercially important to not only the passing tourist trade but also to the surrounding farming communities. Rosedale has a Community Health Centre with a visiting GP.
